Whew! My new craft room/office (I'm sharing it now) is finally done and I'm back to crafting! Oh yeah, and I got a new camera for my anniversary gift, so no more cell phone photos!!! Woo hoo! My first project back was this card for the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge #42 - Emboss It. We had to use either dry embossing or heat embossing. I chose to use one of my favorite polka dot cuttlebug embossing folders!
Here it is, as always, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Recipe:
Kraft and purple and white cardstock - Michaels
PTI Hibiscus Burst cardstock and ribbon
DCWV Patterned Paper
Sentiment from Pink by Design
Butterfly stamps from Martha Stewart

Challenge Tag/Gift Card Holder
Hello!
It's been a while since I've entered any challenges (or posted any projects :p ooops) So...I decided to enter a couple today!
The challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps was to make something to do with gift wrapping!
Momo's Tuesday challenge is to make ANYTHING! (except a card....ha)
And the Weekly Circle Challenge is to use something transparent, like vellum.
So, here's my project!
I like to give gifts with a gift card too, so I decided to make a gift card holder/gift tag, to attach to the gifts I'll be giving this holiday season. So, here's my project!
And here is the tag:
I'll write my message under the vellum, here:
Recipe:
Tags cut from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge
Pumpkin from PK-632 Halloween Sweet Folks colored with SU Stamp and Write markers
Sentiment from Pink by Design Bountiful Blessings
All patterned paper is from DCWV Autumn Amber, I am in LOVE with this stack!
Vellum is from my scrap pile and embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder.
And ribbon I believe is from Michaels.
Thanks for looking!!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #37 and 1st Easel card!
Hello!
The week's Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge is a sketch with a twist challenge. The twist is to use kraft cardstock. I've never used kraft before, so it was definitely a challenge for me, but I really like what it adds to a card. There may be more kraft in my future! This is also my first easel card! I can't wait to make more!
This card is for my grandma and grandpa who live in Arizona. The community where they live started having card making classes, so my grandma and I have been sending each other tons of cards! It's really fun!
Recipe:
Recollections orange, black, kraft and white cardstock
DCWV Rockstar Stack patterned paper
Ribbons and Happy Halloween stamp are from Michaels
Super cute pumpkin and I Love Boo are from PKS Halloween Sweet Folks!
And of course a ton of pop dots and white gel pen stitching

Last night Robyn over at mypinkstamper.com reached over 5 million hits on her awesome blog! Her first challenge of the day was to make a project with a bird. So, I made a wedding card! My inspiration came from a super cute wallet that I found online this morning.
Again, I am so sorry for the horrible cell phone photo. My camera is broken :( but I put a new one on my xmas list!
Here's my inspiration:

I can't believe it....
I watched HSN alllllll day today and resisted the temptation to buy the new cricut imagine (although I did pick up a few Martha Stewart items like the score board and glitter!) But then....my boyfriend came home and he watched the last imagine segment of the night with me.....AND I BOUGHT ONE!!! I seriously couldn't believe that I did that when I got off of the phone! I had no intention of buying one today! YIKES! I am SUPER excited though!
I would say look for it soon.....but since I ordered it so last minute....my expected delivery date is October 11th.....UGH! This is going to be the longest month of my life!

In honor of all of the men and women who are, have and will serve our country and those who lost loved ones to the tragedy of September 11th, Robyn at mypinkstamper.com is having a challenge. Here is the card that I made for my sister, who returned home after 4 long years of being in London, Washington, Texas and overseas. I'm so happy to have her home and safe! She is my hero!

Erin Lee Creative Labor Day Layout Challenge & my first layout ever!
What a relaxing weekend! I got a lot of crafting done, hopefully I'll get some of my new projects up soon.
Here is one that I made for the Labor Day Layout Challenge over on Erin's blog. I am not a scrapbooker, so this is my very first layout! I took a trip to New Your City recently and figure those were as good of pictures as any to start with! Although I haven't decided exactly which photos I'd like to put in yet, so they aren't in the photo. So here is my NYC themed layout. As always, I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks for looking!

Warmest Wishes Card
Hello!
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. School has started and my fourth year in college seems like it's going to be really tough! Wish me luck!
I wanted to get this card into Robyn's Winter Challenge, but of course I couldn't get it uploaded in time,so I thought I'd put it up now anyway. I think this Hello Kitty is just adorable!
Recipe:
All cardstock is from The Paper Company
The snowflakes are embossed using a Sizzix embossing folder
Hello Kitty is cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge
The border is from a MS edge puncher
I found the ribbon in the xmas section at Hobby Lobby, 90 feet for $8! What a deal!
The stamp is Stampin' Up from the All Year Cheer 1 set
And last but not least, the buttons on her jacket are from my new iRock! Which I am loving!
Thanks for looking!

40:31 Creations Challenge
I am realllllly sorry for the terrible quality photos on this one. I left my camera at work and really wanted to get this into Lauren's challenge last minute, so I had to use my phone...
Anyway, Lauren had a halloween project challenge as well, so I made this spinner card! Yes, another spinner card, I promise to find a new obsession soon! I just think they are so cute! I like this one the best so far because it is very simple and clean looking. The bat spins back and forth, like it is flying in the sky!I saw this technique on Trish's blog, see my post earlier today for the link to her video.
So, here is it! Hope you enjoy!
All of the solid cardstock is from The Paper Company
Orange polka dot patterned paper is from DCWV Amber Autumn Stack
Black Foil Stars is from DCVW The Rockstar Stack
The bat and vampire were cut from my current favorite cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up!
The sentiment is a stamp from the dollar bin at Michael's
The vampire's hair has Glossy Accents to make it shiny.
Milky Way White Galaxy Marker is for the outlines on the bat and vampire.
And Martha Stewart Drippy Goo Edge Punch

Erin Lee Creative is hosting a Halloween Project Challenge sponsored by OhMyCrafts.com! I'm really excited for this one because I just LOVE halloween! I found a really cute idea on Trish's blog at Techniques by Trish. Click here here to watch the video. I wish I could figure out the whole video thing, so I could show you how cute this is, but I'll have to do it with photos for now.
So, here it is! The witch wants her Spell book, but it's too far away so she makes it levitate to her!
All of the solid cardstock is from The Paper Company.
The patterned paper is from Provo Craft Doodlecharms pack
The edge punch is called Drippy Goo from Martha Stewart
The sentiment and black satin ribbon are both from Michaels.
And last but not least, stickles!

First post and Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #35
Hello!
I decided to create this blog so that I can enter my projects into design challenges. My first one is going to be Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #35. It was a color combo and design challenge. The colors we had to use are Apricot, Teal and Orchid. I wasn't sure about these colors at first but all of the projects that people have submitted are SO cute! Anyway, here is what I came up with. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on my card, tips for my new blog or anything else!
Thanks for looking!
